You want to know the real reason that cats have not yet entered the workforce? They do not want to outshine us at the only thing that we are good at. Lol, just kidding, those sour lazy bones would not be able to last one minute in the mind-numbing monotony of the modern work life. But we did happen to come across a collection of crazy cattos who do attempt to, or are somewhat forced to, get stuck into some work, and we can already tell you it is a shambles.

From guard cats sleeping on the job, to feline greeters putting on their sourest expressions to ward off customers, these cute cattos really do not understand the concept of monetary gain and the sacrifices that must be made in order to make that happen. But thankfully, for the purrposes of our viewing pleasure, their attempts at holding down a job are wonderfully hilarious. We always love a heartwarming cat adoption story. It's usually a wholesome moment when the Cat Distribution System decrees that you should have a cat, and then - lo and behold - you find your fluffy feline soulmate in the most unexpected time and place. Our cats will eat anything and everything we offer to them. In fact, we're not entirely sure that they aren't vacuum cleaners in disguise because there seems to be no end to their hunger. They might be the least picky cats on planet Earth. This makes mealtimes purrticularly easy as they will literally eat anything we put in their food bowls. Of course, we feed them a healthy mix of wet and dry food (and the occasional piece of meat as a treat), but we're also very furtunate to be able to not have to worry about where the money for their food comes from. 

If you didn't know, owning a pet is expensive. And we're not just talking about all the food they eat, there are the vet bills, enrichment, litter, and sitters for when you regrettably have to leave them. The budget for a normal month can quickly double if your cats decide to start eating plastic or accidentally swallow something they're not supposed to.

There are lots of people on the internet who will tell you there is only one right way to be a cat pawrent. What most people don't realize is that these "influencers" are paid by certain brands to push their products, so of course they're going to tell you that you have to feed your cats only wet food all the time, and it's 100% affordable (because they're probably getting it for free). 

Our advice? Don't listen to them. You do the best you can for your cats, and we pawmise you it's going to be good enough. As long as they're fed, loved, and have a safe place to sleep, you're doing great.

If you go to the "pick-a-purr" building in search of the best cat for you, you might be partaking in the "Inverse Cat Distribution System." That's what the aspiring cat mother does in this next story, and won't let a pawdorable black kitty take "neow" for an answer!

Sure, pet parents usually gravitate toward the animals that show them the most love upon first meeting. It makes sense; You want to build a furever home with an animal who wants the same thing, too. Sometimes, though, animals are shy all around. So many introverted creatures are written off because of their shy temperament, but not the cute black kitty in this next story!

The (now) cat mom walked into the shelter, locked her eyes on the long-haired beauty, and self-admittedly "became" part of the room so as not to disrupt the cat's peace of mind. She felt a certain kinship with the shy feline, but within days of adoption, she cultivated a cat mom-cat creature relationship with enough love to last both of them a lifetime. Two kittens plopped into the lap of a cat-lover when they discovered the baby white felines in their backyard. After doing a widespread search for their owners, the kitty rescuers spent $400 tending to their injuries, getting them the medical assistance they needed, and bonding with the 2 kitten siblings. But after a month of cuddles and cute kitten afternoons, suddenly, a neighbor was coming to claim the kitties, despite leaving them on "Read" when they texted about the cats a few weeks ago. 

Hmm, why the sudden interest, buddy? Well, this cat lover wasn't about to go down without a fight, knowing that they cared for these kittens now more than this random neighbor ever would…

Sometimes love comes with paws and puzzles. In this case, it's a tail of a nervous kitten, a towering boyfriend, and a pawrent trying to make everyone happy. After losing a longtime feline companion, this cat lover adopted a tiny ball of anxiety who miraculously warmed up to her, but still sees the boyfriend as a giant looming over her territory.

They just moved in together, and life has been a bit of a catastrophe. The kitten hides, runs, and occasionally claims the boyfriend's chair or clothes, either marking territory or just being her usual sassy self. Meanwhile, he's allergic, inexperienced with cats, and slightly baffled by this tiny whirlwind of fur, leaving a mix of purrs, hisses, and itchy frustrations. The pawrent just wants everyone to get along and isn't sure what to do next.

It's a classic story of hoomans and felines figuring out coexistence. With patience, treats, and slow introductions, trust can grow… even if he's 6'3" of intimidating pawsitive energy. She's hoping for peace, cuddles, and a house where love, and a little chaos, can thrive together.

But what is it about cats that make them so special? They actually have special vision that makes it easier for them to see at night. It's called tapetum lucidum, and it gives them their glowing eyes in the dark. How cool would it be to be able to walk around in pitch darkness, but still see everything around you? Not only do they have that special reflective layer, but they can rotate their ears up to 180 degrees independently to pinpoint tiny sounds, which is why they make such incredible hunters. 

I remember being a kid and being so fascinated about cats. They're beautiful, they're elusive, they're also hilarious. Humanity loves cats so much that we often dress like them for Halloween! I can't count the number of times I've dressed up as a cat for Halloween, it's the easiest and cutest costume. Oh dog people, when will they finally understand that no matter how much they resist, they are all cat people inside who cannot admit it to themselves. Well, here we have yet another case of dog person turned feline fanatic, thanks to the implacable nature of his partner who would not listen to his objections when the opportunity to house a stray catto came their way. It is a classic story and one that should really be taught to children at this point for how ridiculous and stubborn dog people are about their undying love for canine kind. But that is not the only point of this story.

For this is after all a story of heartbreak, the story of an elderly gentleman who had no choice but to abandon his soul cat. The story of the kindness of strangers who would take on a feline soul who needed help. This is the story of what happens when the good nature of hoomans prevails over the bad.
